ALMA Data Reduction Training Day: Tuesday, 20th October 2026
On Tuesday, 20th October 2026, Allegro will host an ALMA Data Reduction Training Day in person at Leiden Observatory (Room tbd). The training starts at 10:00 and continues into the afternoon, with coffee and lunch breaks, till 16.00.
The day is split into two parts: the first includes more lectures and general introductions to ALMA, and the second half includes hands-on sessions covering: getting from the ALMA archive to calibrated visibilities, an overview of calibration and self-calibration, working with CASA, imaging, and exploring data cubes with CARTA. The day is aimed at first-time users of ALMA data.

Registered participants will receive instructions for connecting to the Allegro workstations before the training day.
